Sam Sungmin Kang is the Founder and CEO of SKS Entertainment, a next-generation music and culture company at the intersection of K-pop, performance, and technology.
Born in Busan and raised across the United States, China, and Africa, Sam grew up navigating multiple cultures, systems, and creative environments. This global upbringing shaped his perspective on music as a universal language, performance as discipline, and culture as something earned through lived experience rather than trends.
Prior to SKS, Sam was the founding officer and first employee of Jambo, the world’s most widely distributed on-chain mobile company. He helped scale the platform to over 1,000,000 devices across 128 countries, working across global expansion, partnerships, and infrastructure in emerging markets.
In parallel, Sam trained within elite K-pop performance pipelines, developing as a vocalist, dancer, and violinist under broadcast-level systems. That rare combination — artist and operator — defines his approach today: performance-first creativity supported by scalable systems, and artist growth built alongside genuine fan connection over time.
